I.R.I.S. is pleased to announce its new partnership with Scanpoint GmbH, a subsidiary of Austrian Post (Österreichische Post AG). Together with Canon Austria GmbH, I.R.I.S. has completed a project for automatic invoice processing at Scanpoint. The high-volume application is already processing three and a half million invoices per year.

I.R.I.S. AG has installed a solution for the automatic processing of incoming personnel documents in the mailroom at Germany’s leading temporary employment agency Randstad in Eschborn. For Randstad this solution is a significant element of their digital personnel documentation.

Altogether over 300 different kinds of document are automatically classified, indexed, extracted and passed on to the SAP HR system with SAP Records Management - these include up to 5 million pages per year of personnel files. For I.R.I.S., the Randstad decision confirms the leading status of the IRISXtract™ for Documents solution.

In 2012, Salumatics is implementing a new healthcare provider solution for automatic document classification and metadata extraction. This initial project for hospitals will generate an automatic classification up to 30 million pages per year including field-level data extraction such as patient name, date of birth, physician notes, insurance ID, etc.

In parallel to this first installation and with their wish to bring an extra added value to their broad portfolio of solutions, Salumatics is developing an Accounts Payable solution for the automatic processing of incoming invoices.  This solution addresses one of the costliest manual operations in a hospital business office.  This new Salumatics Accounts Payable solution is also built upon the IRISXtract™ for Documents platform.
